Shaking to the core
So the first show is booked. Just thinking about it makes me shake. I’ve done a million shows, but this one feels special. There’s just something about it. I’ll probably play no more than two-three songs, and share the bill with a zillion other people. Nothing special about it really, other than the fact that it is my first in years. Solo, as in “no band”, as in “so alone”. Shit. We’ll see how it goes …
Back in Berlin now, trying to make sense of who, where and when I’ll get to mix the album. Progress is being made but many questions remain unanswered still. Once I know more, you’ll be the first to know. For now, I’m about to hoover my bike wheel for shards of glass. Wish me luck! Berlin is beautiful, but the sidewalks are full of broken bottles, dog shit and stupid ass krauts riding their bikes fast as hell, criss-crossing between baby strollers and kids. Any day now, you’ll read in the paper about some poor kid or dog getting mowed down and killed. Take my word for it. And the weird thing is, Berlin has a lot of great bike lanes and great roads … I’m baffled.
what a luck,
i am in stockholm
when you have your solo show.
we will definitely be there.
cheers from vienna.
Why do u have to be 20..
det kommer gå hur bra som helst. vi har älskat din musik i sju år och vi är där. tack för din musik. alla framtidsdrömmar och all nostalgi får plats.
Just found this solo project. Can’t wait to know more info about the album. Looking forward to it.
Why is “abbreviation” such a long word?
Great post, thanks. I’ve enjoyed your blog for quite awhile and I should probably comment more. It’s alway a great read.
